Apple has announced iAd, their new mobile advertising system, and we are excited to see what’s coming. Ads in the interactive space, aside from search pay-per-click, have never quite hit the mark. Advertising online has followed the traditional system of interruption—ads stuck on the front of online video or banners plopped on the side of your favorite news site. Both take you out of the experience you are engaged in.
